The word in the title means "dirty!" That is the way our apartment looks right now, because of some plumbing work that was done yesterday. Our landlady wanted to have a pipe replaced, so two plumbers came with her to work on it yesterday. I didn't realize what a big job it was going to be... When I left in the afternoon for my language lesson, the stove and some cabinets were torn out, and they were making some holes in the floor & wall of the bathroom. They tracked big glops of mud through the hallway, too. By the end of the day, everything in our kitchen, toilet room, and bathroom was covered in a fine layer of gritty dirt! Our cold water still wasn't working normally, so they came back this morning, and they're working on it right now. I think they're also putting a new faucet in the kitchen. I'll have my work cut out for me with cleaning when they leave!
Here are some recent pictures of Lydia with two of her friends. The first one is of Alisa, and the second one is Isaiah. Both are two years old. Isaiah has spina bifida, so he can't walk yet, but he has strong arms and can get around with an army crawl. He loves to chase Lydia around, which makes them both giggle and laugh. We're thankful for the friendship of the parents of these children, too!

"Kick-a-ball snow!"
The title says what Lydia wanted to do today, since we had a nice fresh coating of snow this morning, and it continued to snow most of the day. So, this morning we went out for a while to frolic in the snow. Once we got out there though, Lydia was more interested in "kick-a-snow." She also really liked to scoop the snow up with her mittens and brush her hands together. If you want to see some videos of Lydia in the snow, check out the You Tube link- I plan to put some up soon.
